This is my new favorite mat! It's very thick for a yoga mat which is great for any poses on your knees or any poses where you have to rock forward onto your tailbone. It's also longer than a normal mat, so it's perfect for those who are a little taller.
The mat does have a strange plastic synthetic smell to it when you first take it out of the plastic, but it wasn't very strong and went away in a few days after use. To aid in airing it out, I left my mat unrolled and flat on the floor until the smell went away.
I am like the rest of the reviewers who got the olive green mat expecting it to be a few shades brighter. I don't mind this darker green, but for those who don't like a military green, beware.
I might buy a few more of these because I like this one so much! It is at an excellent price and a good product.
