The mat is just as advertised. I didn't have a lot of slip, was very long and the extra cushion was nice. I was worried about the "stinking mat" that a few other reviews had noted but mine smelled fine and lost the rubbery smell after one good airing out. It arrived quickly and without defects. I read all other reviews and was concerned there would be a smell to the mat since other people had that issue. I did not notice a smell. This mat is really comfortable, you could even nap on it! I got this for my wife a few weeks ago. She loves it. It's think enough to actually provide cushioning when you do yoga on a hard floor (unlike a lot of mats, which are more like glorified blankets). This mat is exactly as described! The extra length is nice, it is nice and thick, and the colors are bright. Don't worry about the smell; it's not worse than any other new yoga mat, and fades over time. If you're interested in the mat and worried about the smell, DON'T WORRY! Well, it's a mat. I don't use it for yoga I use it for ab workouts because the ground is kind of dirty. I mean, it's a little thicker than a regular yoga mat. But it's a mat. It does what it's supposed to do. It's sticky like it's supposed to be and not smelly like some have said. Enough said.
