Very nice football. I am very impressed with the quality. I would definitely buy this item again.
I did receive a ball with different writing on it. It still says 1005, but in small print. Must be a new design. At any rate the ball quality is still there. I'm very happy.
Update:
I've really enjoyed this ball thus far. It is an official ball, which was a selling point for me. However, it is a very hard ball. I can take the hard throws, but others I play catch with don't last. My recommendation for just "pick-up" games or playing catch with co-eds or of all ages, but still want a official regulated ball is to go with a Rawlings ST5 (soft touch). There are many versions out there so just do the research and you can't go wrong. It also is a collegiate/high school ball.
