We bought this bed for guests and just recently had our 60yr old mother-in-law (who has several health conditions that make her uncomfortable) sleep on it for a week. SHE LOVED IT! In fact, she's buying one for her house for guests - so I guess I will be sleeping on it someday. She said it was VERY comfortable and it felt great to me as I laid on it. It was a nice height off the ground and could get very firm if you wanted.
The bed inflated easily just by turning 2 knobs. It was a little noisy (emitting a slight squeal) but not so much that it was a problem. We did inflate it each night for about 5 seconds, just to keep it as inflated as day one, which was not a hassle. The deflation was fairly quick, totally automatic and easy.
We also purchased the Pike Street comforter to go with it and it fit snugly like a glove and added some extra comfort. We used normal queen sheets that seemed to stay on well.
All in all, we're glad we bought this bed and would recommend it!

I've never owned an inflatable bed before. I needed one that was portable, comfortable, easy to inflate/deflate, stays in one place (so you're not chasing it all over the floor trying to lay down in it!), and the bedding stays on the bed! Impossible you think? No so with this one! It inflates easily (even makes it easy to know when it's fully inflated!), deflates just as simply, is a relatively comfortable sleeping service, and it stays in one place! The pump is part of the bed itself, so you don't have to try and find a way to pack the pump along with the bed. It has a "flocked" surface that helps hold the sheet to the bed. I bought the queen size and it's plenty big. I'm a tall person and there is plenty of length, too. It comes with a handy "tote" bag, so you can easily fold up the deflated bed and store or carry it without a lot of trouble. It is of sturdy construction, too. Bought this for my 23 yr old son when he was moving to Jupiter, FL for 5 months. He's a golf professional and moves between New England and FL for obvious seasonal reasons. This was his primary bed in FL and in the 5 months he said he only had to add a very little air to top it off about 3 or 4 times total. It is so comfortable that when he came back to New England he took it to his new apartment and slept on it every night for 7 months. When he goes to visit friends he deflates it and takes it with him. When deflated it can be folded up and put in a large Rubbermaid type tub for storage or when transporting it. Couldn't be happier with something we thought would be an interim bed and has now become his regular bed wherever he is. Laughs that it's more comfortable than his bed growing up. About to purchase another one to send to my son and daughter-in-law in New Orleans so that they can use it as a "guest bed". Highly, highly recommend!Customer Review: Best air mattress out there!

I bought this air mattress from Amazon two years ago. I moved to FL for a few months for an internship that summer and took this as my bed for my apartment. I did a lot of research on air mattresses and this one seemed to be the best. Just took it out of the box plugged it in and that's all there is to it. Since I used it for 3 months it did need some "topping off" every week or so but it was as easy as turning the knob for a minute. I like that it suctions to the floor so it doesn't slide around the room. The pump is a little noisy but that is masked by the convenience of the bed. I slept on it with my girlfriend a few times and it is big enough for two, no problem. Now I use it for guests at my place or bring it with me if I am staying at someones house. One of the drawbacks is that it can only be inflated using the pump, no alternative inflation method, so you need an outlet to inflate. the design of this bed overcomes one of the fatal flaws of all previous inflatables: the edges are unstable and don't hold their form, so you have to sleep in the middle to prevent rolling off. this bed is COMFY, and just as good to sleep on the edge as in the middle. it's just like a normal mattress, in that it keeps its form and support through the entire length/width of the mattress.
i HIGHLY recommend this mattress.
and the built-in inflating fan is perfect- just put the mattress next to an outlet or any extension cord, and you're just a few minutes from a great bed. and the fan has a "deflate" setting, which sucks the air out, so you don't have to lay and roll all over the thing to get it to deflate.
my wife and i just used one of these during a 5-day stay w/ friends, and i have nothing but great things to say about it.
