The WeeRide Kangaroo center-mounted bike seat offers an award-winning design that makes biking with your child much safer and much more fun. It's installed onto virtually any bicycle via a patent pending, independent steel support bar that attaches between the front handle bar tube and the seat post. It provides a much more enjoyable and interactive experience for the child and rider. Your child's needs can be heard, seen and attended to more easily, and he or she has a more interesting view--no more staring at someone's back. Other advantages include no dangling arms or legs to reach wheels and the rear of the bike is free to carry your gear. The seat is made from an injection-molded plastic form, and it features a comfortable padded foam seat, height adjustable foot cups, and a fully adjustable three-point security harness. The Padded pedestal armrest sitting atop the handlebars gives children somewhere comfortable to put their hands, and can serve as a headrest for the napping toddler. The steel support bar is an independent support system that does not interfere with brake cables or other attached bicycle gear. It includes different sizes of plastic spacers for the front yoke attachment and rear seat post to protect the posts and ensure it fits on almost any recreational bicycle available. It's easily removable for when you want to ride on your own. It can be used with mountain/city bikes with upright handlebars (with drop-handled racing handlebars, the rider leans forward too much for the child to sit comfortably). Children should be at least 1 year old, and it has a maximum weight capacity of 40 pounds. This bike seat is designed for casual riding on smooth, flat, paved and dry surfaces free of sand, gravel or dirt.
Sports reviews of WeeRide Kangaroo Child Bike SeatCustomer Review: My son and I can enjoy the ride together now : ) Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
My whole family loves this idea of this prodact.
I was always thinking about how can I ride my bike with my 2 years old son and be feel safe at same time.
I didn't like the idea of child sits right behind you, because what if something happens on the back of the seat and I wasn't be able to catch him right away???
I've always wanted to have my son sit front of me, and here this product comes. It is pretty easy to put this thing on, and also strong enough to hold your loved ones. My son really loves his view when we get to ride the bike and I can be feel a lot safe during the ride.
You will be feel safe, and your child will enjoy his/her view like you do or more ;)
You can change the size for the legs and seatbelt as well. 1 year and up. (maximum capacity of 40 pounds)
It is very easy to put it on to adult bikes.
Customer Review: Thank You! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I bought this for my toddler girl (just under 2yrs old) so that I could get some exercise while spending time with her. So far this is a great product.
Setup was easy. It was no problem learning to ride with the seat in place. My daughter LOVES it! And we can talk while riding (I talk, she yells "Wheeee!"), and we see the same things and I can point out things and see her turn her head. It's a great way for us to bond while riding.
The only negative so far, and this is minor, is that while riding my daughter can and sometimes does grab at my hands on the handlebars. Nothing too worrisome, but obviously this accessibility comes with being positioned in front of me. Still, the benefits far outweigh this minor annoyance.
If you have a toddler and like to ride your bike, I highly recommend the WeeRide.

I bought this bike seat for my husband for Fater's Day, trying to get him into more exercise. Well, it worked....he went right out and bought a new bike. Both he and my 2 1/2 son LOVE it... it is much safer than the back child seats because the center of gravity is in the front. It is really easy to peddle, barely notice a difference with child in front of you. My son can talk to my husband or whoever is riding the bike and he can see plenty of things around him. I am so glad that I purchased this. In fact we enjoyed it so much that my Dad bought one for his bike to take my son for rides and we have purchased 2 additional mounting bars to fit all of our bikes. What a great invention!!! I tell everyone how great thisproduct is and when we ride around town we get stopped all the day because of the seat. Very Cool!!!
Customer Review: Really enjoy this product!! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Got this product for $49.99 and love it. It was very easy to install; took only about 15 minutes. The one thing I don't like is that there is a hand screw bolt that holds the seat to the very stable support bar. It seems safe, but I needed to use one of those rubber jar openers to tighten it since its was difficult to tighten enough without hurting your fingers. You are supposed to take the seat off when transporting the bike by vehicle so that the wind doesn't damage it, so I imagine that this will be my only complaint with the carrier.
My 14 month old seems comfortable, secure and enjoys riding around with me. It surprisingly was not difficult to get used to riding with a carrier in front of you. I would highly recommend this over the cheaper, back-of-bike models.
Customer Review: Wonderful for 6-24mo child Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I LOVE this seat. My daughter is a tall 20 month old (35 inches/30+ lbs) and she fits. I love having her in front of me when we bike. It makes for wonderful Mommy/child time as the child is right in front of you. You can talk to your child about things you see w/o risk of taking your eyes on the road by turning your head at all to show your child something. I do agree that your legs are forced out a little bit to the side enough to make long up hill biking more difficult. If you are doing long distances (5+ miles), you might want to consider a seat for the back of your bike. If you want to go for a 5 mile ride that does not include long hills, this is fabulous! My daughter loves it and runs to my bike when she sees the bike is out of the shed.
