The seat is made from an injection-molded plastic form, and it features a comfortable padded foam seat, height adjustable foot cups, and a fully adjustable three-point security harness. The Padded pedestal armrest sitting atop the handlebars gives children somewhere comfortable to put their hands, and can serve as a headrest for the napping toddler.
The steel support bar is an independent support system that does not interfere with brake cables or other attached bicycle gear. It includes different sizes of plastic spacers for the front yoke attachment and rear seat post to protect the posts and ensure it fits on almost any recreational bicycle available. It's easily removable for when you want to ride on your own.
It can be used with mountain/city bikes with upright handlebars (with drop-handled racing handlebars, the rider leans forward too much for the child to sit comfortably). Children should be at least 1 year old, and it has a maximum weight capacity of 40 pounds. This seat worked just as described. Installation was pretty easy. I followed the directions and it went fine. The best attribute is that the child sits in the middle, not in the rear. This makes riding much easier, as the center of gravity is where it should be - in the middle. I also feel more in control over the bicycle. I can get on and off much easier, too. My boy is 3-years-old, and he likes it and fits in it comfortably. I recommend this product.Customer Review: So much fun for the both of us

I bought the Kangaroo Child Bike Seat for my 20 month old. I tried to use a traditional rear seat for her, but because I have disc brakes on my mountain bike, I could not find a compatible one. She and I are very comfortable with this on my bike. We can talk to each other and point things out on the ride. I feel no difference in the center of gravity, and it is very easy to take off the seat when I want to go ride on my own. Great design and function.Customer Review: Amazing!

I absolutely love this product! It was simple to install, and it is so easy to take off when not in use. My 2 1/2 year old boy loves to ride with me. We have taken 15 mile trips and usually he falls asleep during the last 20 minutes. Even when he is sleeping, I still have no problem handling the bike. I would recommend this product to anyone with a child who is 40 lbs and under. I look forward to warmer weather so we can all go biking again!!Customer Review: Superb seat!

We received this 3 days ago and have completed 3 long rides with our 2 1/2 year old son. He is in love with this seat! I love it too and find that it is comfortable.
It makes sense that shorter folks may have trouble with this, but I'm only 5'10" and I'm okay so I don't think you have to be "tall" per se.
I love the position--we can talk and I can point things out--what a difference from the rear-mounted seats!

I was a bit skeptic about how this bike seat would work but after I installed in and took my daughter for a ride I was glad that I purchased it. My daughter is 22 months old she really enjoyed the sitting in the seat. I like the fact that she can see what is in front rather than staring at my back. I also find comfort it the fact that I can also see what she is doing. This make the rides that much more enjoyable.
