This is the best chair I've ever owned. We go to the beach often and the backpack feature is a great help in carrying all we need to bring. It is lightweight. When open, it is very comfortable. Love it. I am 4'11" and Mike is 5'11" and the chair fits us both perfectly. We have used the chair for everything from sitting in the backyard cooking out to fishing, hiking and the beach. I've had this chair for 3 or 4 years now and you won't find a more comfortable beach chair anywhere. I've had friends sit in the chair and I can't get them out of it. I did a lot of research before I bought the WearEver Lounger and I can't believe how perfect it is. I use it at home too.Customer Review: great for concert venues

The chair is well built & comfortable. The reason I bought it is because at outdoor ampitheatre venues (I have 2 near me) they allow only low chairs. This one has the added benefit of being able to stuff anything else I need inside it so I only need to carry it & not a chair & a bag.Customer Review: Comfy and convenient

I bought this chair for use at the beach and while camping. My husband had the wearever chair and I was kinda jealous of it. I love the foot rest, it really adds to the comfort. The footrest IS detachable but it doesn't really add that much weight.
