The lounger's four-position recline, meanwhile, lets you find just the right angle for napping or reading. I've used this chair 3 summers in a row and it's terrific. Just need to be gentle with the footrest so as not to risk breaking it (I was forewarned by another purchaser). Fabric cup holder on right arm a nice plus as is detachable neck pillow and pack in the back for towel, etc., and padded straps to carry chair like a backpack. Pack holds together as does chair when closed by strong claw clips. It's NOT feather light, so have a strong back or strong arm (fabric handle on top of chair) for carrrying. Back rest fabric slopes outward after some use, so you may want to pack a small cushion/towel for lumbar support. All in all, though, a great chair.Customer Review: Perfect chair for beach

This is my favorite product that I've seen all year. I bought one and LOVE it. Basically, it is a comfortable chair that is really portable and lightweight. You can take it anywhere...the backpack straps are easy to use and you can just throw it on your back--freeing up your hands to carry a cooler, toys, or anything else you might need for the park or the beach.
Anyone going to the beach MUST have this. It's very comfortable and has proven quite durable for my use. You could sleep on the beach in this chair all day long.
Hope you like it as much as I do--i think this may be the best deal online.

As an avid beach-goer, sun-worshiper, and lake-lounger, I found this chair to be the perfect solution to my ever uncomfortable beach towels and lawn chairs. It is EXTREMELY comfortable. In fact, I ordered one for my husband for father's day, and I am now ordering 3 more for myself and family. It offers the perfect comfort for reading, dozing, watching the kids (or sunset) or tanning. It is light, easy to carry, keeps your hands free for carrying all the others goodies required on the beach, and is sure to be the envy of all others when we hit Santa Cruz, Morro Bay and Pine Mountain Lake this year.Customer Review: Great Chair! I love this chair. We camp and boat, and so we also sit around.
I like being able to lounge with my feet up off the dirt!
It has a nice little pillow built in for your head and I like the drink holder. My kids use the foot rest as a table, ( like it shows you can do)and that set up is perfect for propping and reading the newspaper or magazines.
This chair is well made, and easily folds back up into the backpack configuration.
It isn't too heavy to carry, and I love having my hands free to carry more stuff.
My only problem? Now I have to buy a few more for the kids!

I was the envy of my buddies this summer when I brought along this chair camping. Most of them had the $10-$20 bag folding chairs and they paled in comparison with my WearEver LR-4 Deluxe Backpack Lounger. Kicking back after a long day of hiking in this chair is so very relaxing. Some may see it as a negative, but I loved how often I would doze off sitting in this chair. The cup holder is OK for cans, but it could use a little thicker material to handle 12oz brown bottles :) I am not a small guy but there has been no issues so far in terms of stressing out the fabric or hinges.
