We bought these chairs last year, after researching "beach chairs" because we wanted really nice, good ones that were comfortable and that we wouldn't have to replace in a year or two. Frankly, I was a little surprised and skeptical about all the "love" people professed over a beach chair in these reviews. Well, now I know the deal - this chair is a portable recliner you can put on your back and sit in while wet! It really is as comfortable as everyone says. The biggest problem with it (besides the relative weakness of the footrest which unfortunately just begs someone to sit on - and break - it) is that it lulls you into falling asleep way too easily!
Everywhere we take them (and we do take them everywhere) we get asked about them and I feel like a walking commercial anyway, so I figured I should come back and let anyone else looking into these chairs know just how good they really are. When I tell folks how much they cost they are amazed they don't cost twice that...
Happy beach naps! Just think twice before buying these for classical music concerts!!!

I was dubious and only ordered one to test out. But it is super comfortable and seems plenty light when carried as a backpack. There's lots of room in the pack too. The chair itself feels sturdy but, as other reviews have stated, the footstool does not feel strong, so we'll be careful with it. Also, the footstool could not double as a table - the platform does not lock solidly into position but is wobbly. It would be fine for a book, but you definitely wouldn't want to set a drink on it. Since I didn't purchase it with the idea of using the footstool that way, I didn't detract any stars for it. My husband, who was even more dubious than I, almost fell asleep while "testing" it. He thinks that being low to the ground will make it a perfect fishing chair. By the way, we're both under 5'8" and I can see how taller person might not find it as comfortable as we did. This is one great beach chair. When it first arrived, I opened it up in the living room just to try it out. I ended up sitting in it for quite a while, as it was so comfortable. It has everything needed for a relaxing day at the beach: reclining feature, drink holder, leg rest, and built in backpack to transport towels, books, and where you can put your keys, wallet, etc. Folds up very easily. One drawback is that it does not recline all the way to a full horizontal position, so if you want to lie face down and tan your back, you can't really do it with this chair. But, if you want to put your feet up, relax, and look out on the surf or people watch, it's a great, comfortable way to do so. But, others have written reviews on the ideal heights and weights, and there is some merit to both limits mentioned.Customer Review: Best Lounger

I got tired of our family going to our pool club and either them renting us a dirty lounge chair or not not having any available (we don't get to the pool early enough to ensure getting a chair).
We got 2 of the WearEver LR-4's and they are without question the best! I love the storage bag in the back as well as being able to carry the chairs like a backpack. I wasn't sure about getting the lounger because I thought at first it would add alot of weight but it is only 2 pounds more than the chair without the Foot rest--so I'm glad I got the loungers.
Both my wife and I find the loungers very comfortable for long periods of time.
Buy it and then relax at the pool, beach, picnic, etc. It is a great product and with free shipping too!

Customer Review: Levitating Lounger Will Amaze Your Friends!

I have to say that I was quite sceptical prior to receiving this item. The third product image demonstrates its amazing levitation feature. Of course I thought to myself, "how can this be?... especially at this price?" But, I decided to try it out. The product was straightforward to assemble, with easy to follow directions. I took the freshly assembled lounger out to the front lawn and called over all my neighbors and friends. What happened next shocked and amazed everyone. As a laid down on the chair, I gently floated up several feet in the air, hovering. And boy was it comfortable. It is a bit tricky to get off of though, kind of like being in a hammock that's raised up just a bit too high. All in all, this product is definitely worth it.
