This airpistol is exactly the same as the real walther cp99, except for half of the lower pistol grip. Otherwise a perfect replica. The weight is almost the same as the real gun aswell.
The blowback effect only adds to the realism. Ideally, I didn't except much much from the blowback. Maybe a little bit of a kick but nothing special. I couldn't have been more happy to be wrong. The kick from the blowback feels REAL, it's even hard enough to throw your aim off if you don't compensate.
This Walther holds 20 rounds per clip and lasts 83 shots before needing a co2 cartridge change. You can push for 100-120 shots but the range and velocity of the metal pellets will be significantly decreased. I suggest purchase 2-4 more clips(they're dirt cheap) and avanti precision ground shot pellets. Even when low on co2 my Walther cp99 has NEVER jammed.
The clips are brainlessly easy to reload and convenient beyond what words can express.
Finally, I'd like to suggest that anyone that purchases this gun should purchase special lubricant for the co2 cartridges(as to which kind, it's listed in the manual). It helps the gun pierce the co2 cartridges, making it less of a hassle.
Ideally the only problem with the gun is the usually with any airgun that operates on co2, it's royal pain in the ass to load and change cartridges. Also it's inaccurate past 50 feet because of the blowback.

This compacted version of the Walther P99 is modeled after the gun used by special forces as their back-up pistol. This popular CO2 powered BB air pistol captures realism with its BLOWBACK, semi-automatic action and features a Picatinny mount to allow easy installation of accessories such as a Walther Laser Sight. A 12g CO2 cylinder loads in the back of the grip and the BB magazine releases with the push of a realistic magazine release lever. The recoil action made live by the power of CO2 kicks the slide back giving you that oh-so-realistic feel. A great pistol for target games and owners of the P99 Compact or similar firearms.Guns
