I may have received a dud, but after filling it up, it wouldn't light. I adjusted the flame to numerous settings and no luck. I tried using a regular lighter to ignite it (worked) and found that every 10th or 15th attempt it would light on its own. Sent it back.
Update: a cigar officianado website recommended the Blazer PB207C Clear Pocket Butane Torch. Amazon had it prime. Ordered it. Love the clear cylinder to see the butane quantity (one 5 second fill is all they need). Works EVERY TIME.

I was excited to get this lighter because of the style and finish, however I was quite disappointed. I filled the lighter with butane according to the instructions. The lighter last about 10-15 ignitions. I tried to over fill it. Same result. I leave the lighter alone for a day. It's empty. It's only useful if you fill it up and use it right away, which is very useless. Don't buy this lighter.Customer Review: Defective out the box

Delivery time was quick but the lighter was defective right out of the box. Even before filling the liter, there was no spark to light the gas. This lighter looked nice but never once worked. I'm writing this as I wait for Gig Fly to send the RMA# so I can return it. Bummer and a hassell.!! MADE in China. i eagerly opened the package and followed the instructions to fill with butane. I was not able to get the lighter to fire up!
