The Repair Tool can be extended using the golf ball shaped pushbutton and can be used to repair depressions in the grass. About Swiss Army Knives
In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor or versatility.

I am very excited to have received this Swiss Army Golf Tool! It's very functional, and I have added it to my collection of Swiss Army Tools. I don't golf, but when I saw this, I knew I had to have it. It's got scissors, knives, and other great things. In fact, you might say this is basically just a Swiss Army Knife. But you'd be wrong! You see, unlock most Swiss Army Tools, the Swiss Army Golf Tool has a divot repair. I haven't yet needed to repair any divots, but should I find one, I'll know just what to do! Now I can place this baby proudly beside my Swiss Army Turkey Dinner Tool, my Swiss Army Computer Repair Tool, my Swiss Army Cake Baking Tool and even my Swiss Army Thank You Note Writing Tool. Every golfer has lost many divot tools. From the cheap plastic ones that break soon after the pro shop basket is empty to the more expensive steel ones that attach to a golfer's hat or pants pocket. This one is great.
The Victorinox Swiss Army Golf tool is made by the same people who make the multi purpose Swiss army knives and wristwatches. It contains a ball marker, a push buttom activated divot tool, scissors, a pen blade, and a bottle cap tool. The device is well made, slightly heavy (you know it is in your pocket) and also comes with a swivel clip and velcro nylon case to attach to a belt loop. Three Callaway HX Tour balls sweetened the deal.

Let's face it, this item rocks. I bought it as a gift for a buddy who is a complete gadget golfer, and already has everything under the sun. Even still, the genuine Victornox design and functionality was impressive. I had my first one for about two years before it fell out of my pocket at my local course. I immediately went home and bought another one here on Amazon. I play about 50 rounds a year so that's a testament to the quality of the tool. Sliding the divot tool out of its holster is just plain cool ;-)Customer Review: divot repair tool

This divot repair tool is excellent. The retractable prongs do not dig into your leg like other tools. It is easy to find in your pocket because of it's size. The knife blades are unnecessary.The old model without the knife blades is a better model if you can find it on the market.
