The 3-1/2-inch-long knife holds 17 tools in its traditional, red plastic casing. All blades and tools are made of first-class, stainless steel (except for the plastic toothpick). About Swiss Army Knives
In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The original product dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor for versatility.

I was looking for a knife that had pliers that worked instead of just cutting the item. This works great. The pliers grip and pull and don't cut what you are working on. The scissors cut, the knives work great, really easy to pull out each piece. There are a couple things that I am not even sure what they are, but that's okay too! This pocket knive contains the most commonly used tools that a person would want to have available and in a nice compact size. I have carried one just like this for many years and would never consider being without it (except on an airplane of course).
Highly recommend this as a gift or personal use.

Ah The Swiss Army knife that's exactly right!
This is my 3rd Deluxe Tinker and it works as great as my last two.
Doesn't take up much room in my pocket.
This knife is same as the Super Tinker, but adds the pliers

I have owned several Swiss Knives over the years, and I believe that this one is my all-time favorite. Has everything I could need, and priced very economically. Victorinox knives are solidly built and is a great tool to have with you at all times.
