It's sad how few people use Fly Paper.
Instead of a 25 cent strip of Fly Paper they're using $5 cans of Insecticide.
FIVE REASONS FLY PAPER IS BETTER:
1: Fly Paper contains no poisons - Insecticide is a diluted Nerve Gas.
2: Fly Paper works unattended - Insecticide needs to be manually aimed and sprayed.
3: Fly Paper captures the beasts - Insecticide kills them, then they fall on the floor, the food, the table.
4: Fly Paper is clean - Insecticide spray falls everywhers, coating surfaces with greasy poison.
5: Fly Paper is 25 cents a strip and can last for months - Insecticide is $5 a can and may be exhausted in a single session.
Ok, in defense of Insecticide, Fly Paper is going to have no effect on crawling critters - obviously.
TIPS:
Hang your Fly Paper near a light - All Insects are attracted to light, and you will catch many more.
After hanging, slowly, gently grasp the container and pull the paper out while twisting. I've found the heat from a Hair Dryer makes this much easier.
When you're ready to dispose of a full strip, simply extend a paper or plastic bag up and over the Fly Paper, then close the bag around the strip - No muss, no fuss.
Now go catch some flies !
