I was looking for a medicine ball to start working with at home and this one is perfect. It's textured so I can get a firm grip on it, it's solid (as opposed of others I've used that seem to have a weight that rolls around inside of them), and it arrived early. I'm thinking about ordering the other sizes, but for now I'll stick with this one. It's the same as the ones at the gym, which is pretty cool.Customer Review: Enjoying it

A wonderful addition to my work-outs. The paint job isn't quite as neat and pretty as in the pictures, but in a couple years I'll probably have all that paint rubbed off of it. Perfect size (volleyball-ish)and basketball-textured surface makes it easy to grip and manuever.
The weight is well-distributed and I don't have to deal with the sound and feel of moving sand that occurred in other brands.Perfect!

I run outdoor bootcamps and I use all the Valeo medicine balls. The size of this 4lb ball is great. Some 4lb balls are so small that it makes it hard to toss back and forth and do other things.

This ball is great. It's the perfect size to fit in my hands while I do my work out. It's easy to grip and keep control of during my work out. It's exactly what I was looking for.
