Everyone should have a pair of these in their fitness collection. While I know you can't get sculpted or buff with these, like you can something at the gym, they're awesome for various workouts where only light weight is needed. I take these out with me when I go for a power walk. I used them when I'm on the treadmill and pump my arms while walking. I use them when I am doing kickboxing or doing DVD workouts that work my upperbody. Also have a pair on my desk and do various exercises while talking on the phone at work.
My arms are looking great because of these. 5 stars!!

I have used my 5 lb weights for several months now and they are wonderful. The texture of these weights makes them very easy to grip and the blue color is pretty too. These are my second set of Valeo weights I have owned and I would highly recommend them to my fellow Jazzers and anyone looking for a nice set of weights that won't break your wallet. (The pink three lb weights I had previously were nice too just not challenging enough for this die hard Jazzercise nut)Customer Review: Good Grip!

The neoprene coating keeps these guys from slipping to easily out of your hands, especially if you get slimy, sweaty hands when you work out. The grip is relatively comfortable and secure for a moderate workout, but I wouldn't recommend jogging with them unless you have big palms, as the handlebars are about an inch thick in diameter. I only use them at home, and leave them on a carpeted surface outside of direct sunlight when I'm done using them.Customer Review: Just as described!

This product is just what it says it is: a pair of blue 5 lbs. weights. The material it's covered in is pretty nice to hold, better than just metal or sooth plastic in my opinion.
I bought mine as my first pair of handweights to start working my triceps so I don't get those "bingo-wing" flaps, and they've worked great. Great for toning, especially for women like me, I would recommend heavier for bulk strength training.

I'm using the purple 3-pound hand weights right now and can't wait to graduate to these pretty blue 5-pounders when I go out on my walks. I'm just not there quite yet. But I have used these for stationary arm exercises and these are great! Easy to hold on to. Good little fold-out directions with picture instructions of some good arm-toning exercises come with all sets of the Valeo Neoprene Hand Weights. Nice touch!
