This one is simple, if you need hand weights for a workout, then you need these ones. I love the soft neoprene that don't get all slick with sweat and start getting slippery and cause me to get distracted during my workout or have me stop and dry them off. They are durable no matter how many times they are dropped. I have had no problems with them. I recommend them highly.Customer Review: a good start to your diet plan

These weights have a nice feel to them (more comfortable than vinyl, for the same price), but like the above reviewer said, they only work if you use them. 5-lb weights are very suitable for beginners to purchase. It may be heavy at first, but as you get stronger, 3-lbs will get too light. 5-lbs will also get the toning done, without bulking you up.Customer Review: Hand weights

I just got these and so far, so good. The 2-pound are quite light, you might want to get at least the 3-pound. Still, they are building my muscles - I am small. They seem pretty sturdy. The neoprene is good because they don't slip and it's not uncomfortable even if you sweat. I would definitely buy more of the same brand.Customer Review: Very nice

Great set of weights, comfortable to hold while you are working out. I do have one workout I do with the weights in my hands and in push up position, the ends aren't large enough to keep my knuckles off the ground, but I suppose a large set of weights would work. I have professional weight set at home but needed a small 2-pound pair of hand weights for special exercises. They arrived super fast and in a nice box with a series of exercises (which may be useful to some); the grip feels nice and soft to touch. It's handy and perfect.
