Description of Valeo Ab Wheel

I bought this little ab wheel almost 18 months ago, and have used it three times a week ever since. At the time, I had a lower back pain on and off since giving birth to my son 6 years ago and crunches and sit-ups made the pain worse.
At first it was difficult to even finish 20 reps at one sitting, but now 100 reps are my norm. Along with a regular cardio exercise (I run 6 miles on a treadmill three times a week), this little wheel worked wonders on my abdominal area without causing any back pain. It helped reduce my waistline from 31 inches to 26 inches, and I have a nice six-pack to show off to my hubby (which is saying a lot for a 40 year old woman)! Because it is so light-weight, I even bring this wheel to the vacations. I would say it was the best spent $12 in my memory! Just don't forget, this is not a magic device - as is true with any exercise regimen, persistence is the key. Happy exercise!
Customer Review: Very easy to put together. A quality product for the price!

OK. I want to start by saying don't listen to the reviews that says it's hard to put together. I am a female and it took me all of five minutes if even that to put together. Very Very easy. I really don't understand why people are saying it's hard.
There are instructions on the pamphlet, and I just used that and the pic to guide me. You just put the two wheels against each other, put the bar between the holes and the rubber covers are placed on both sides of the bar on either end. Push on them as far as they will go....and Viola! It's put together and very secure.
Other than that, I can say it's a fine product for the price. The grips are a little hard since it's mad with a hard plastic, but this is a tool you aren't using more than five minutes at a time anyway, so it's perfectly comfortable for that time frame.
Overall, I am very happy with this product.

i know theres some people whining saying the handles are hard to put on. its common sense to put a little soap on the handles if its hard to get them on. i didnt think it was i didnt use any soap and i had them on in 3 minutes. theres also people whining saying the grip is rough on your hands. again common sense to put gloves on if its that bad. i dont think its bad i never use gloves with this.
this is pretty new to me, ive used it for 2 weeks now. i use it in adition to ab loops that hang from a pullup bar. it takes strong abs and good pushup form before you should start using this. ive been doing 2 sets of 10 and i would do anymore than that. 2x10 works a fit person hard enough. ive noticed this is the key to getting definition down the middle of your abs. good product and really sturdy.

This is a pretty simple piece of equipment, but it works. My trainer has had me use this in the gym, so I bought one to use at home. When used correctly, you can definitely get a good ab workout. It's not as easy as it looks -- but if it was, the workout wouldn't be as effective. It takes a little while to get the proper form/motion down, but once you do, you will feel it. As far as assembly, it was a snap. I saw some other reviews about the difficulty of getting the grips onto the metal rod. I just followed the advice in the directions, which says to use soap or hand lotion and it worked with no problem. They slid all the way on rather easily. Nothing is wobbly or loose. Oh -- and I wasn't sure how well this would work on carpet, but it works just fine.Customer Review: Great Abdominal workout

I purchased three wheels for family and friends. Not only is it a great gift for the hard to buy for, but also inexpensive. As my son is starting to workout, his friends became interested in how this wheel in his room worked. After showing them how to use the wheel, everyone wanted to try it! It started out to be a try it, which lead to a competition that had everyone trying to outdo the others. It made for a lot of fun and laughs. I suggest anyone that would like to do ab workouts to try this inexpensive wheel and see how well it truly works. It not only gave them something to do but was fun as well as physical. My son now has a great six pack going, and enjoys showing off his flat hard stomach!
