I've been multi-tasking with these to get a little upper-body strength training in during spinning. They are pretty comfortable on the wrists, but you really have to pull the straps tight to keep them from slipping up and down (I have pretty slender wrists, so someone with bigger forearms probably won't have this issue). I'm a little confused by the double D-ring closure system, which makes it hard to get the straps adjusted, but I'm sure I'll figure out how to use them properly at some point. I do like that the weight packets are evenly distributed along the length of the holder, so that when they do sllip during exercise it doesn't throw off the movement. I purchased these Valeo weights because I was very weak after spending 3 months in the hospital & 1 month in rehab. I use them on my legs & do a variety of leg workouts to strengthen my leg muscles. I like that you can remove some of the weight simply by opening a velcro closure & pulling it out but I find them a bit awkward to put on but once on they are not going anywhere! I recommend these to anyone who are looking to improve muscle tone in either their arms or legs.Customer Review: Good Weights

Overall they are good for the price. I find them usable during excersizing, and ten pounds on each strap makes for good resistance weight while doing other training. Adding and removing the individual 2 pound sand bags that make up the 10 pounds on each strap is easy enough but the individual bags seem a little flimsy. They have not torn on me yet but I just got them and can see that they should be carefully handled or could be easily torn or unstiched.Customer Review: Adjustable weights is great feature but hurts if worn snugly

The ankle weights were a Christmas present for my daughter. She likes being able to adjust the amount of weight. The one con is that she has to wear them loose because the sandbags are firm and hurt her ankle bone if she tightens the straps. The price was great, and Amazon's free shipping for Christmas delivery was the best!!!Customer Review: great product

Sturdy, weight bags are easily inserted and removed, Velcro straps are good quality. I gave it one star less because I find the comfort to be less when I use low ankle support shoes. When I use regular shoes, the weights rest on your shoe, not on the foot and that is OK.
