I can tell this product was well thougt out by the designers. It is a very secure ankle/wrist weight because of the double closures. Most double closure products would still find a way to make itself known like a restless child, but Valeo's really feel contoured and comfortable. After an extended period of rigorous movements (running, kicking, jumping) it did not budge; as if it was a permenant part of my leg.
I highly recommend this product if you've been looking for an ankle weight that won't slip, sag, or feel painful and will allow you to move freely with a natural feel.

When I needed heavier weights, I could not find them in the Valeo brand. I purchased another brand and found them to be very poorly made. I returned them and ordered Valeo on Amazon. They are very reasonably priced for the excellent quality you get.I now need heavier ones, but Valeo apparently doesn't make the 20 lb. ankle weights. Of course they're heavy--they're weights! That's what you bought them for. I am the skinniest person you've ever met, and they fit pretty well. Sure, they might slip a tiny bit as you move, but you can adjust them much more easily than other brands' weights. The off-brand weights I use at physical therapy slip from my ankles to my knees. These Valeo weights that I use at home slip maybe an inch. The velcro holds very well and makes them easy to take on and off. They're a good bargain, too.Customer Review: Love them!

I love these weights. I read some reviews saying that they are not good for small people, but I am 5'3" and 110lb and I can wear them on both my ankles or wrists just fine (it all depends which loop you put the strap through. I'm very happy with both the ankle weights & service/shipping from Amazon. Product arrived in just a couple days with Free Shipping. Weights are adjustable as advertised by removing weights. My only regret is they are black & it is difficult to put my name on them to leave them at the gym.
