This "PVP" Battle deck is a great way to learn how to play this game, especially if you know someone who you would want to learn with. It comes with 2 pre constructed decks, 1 horde and 1 alliance. This set is pretty basic, but it does include 4 copies of a few exclusive cards. So you shouldn't need to buy more then 1.
While I can't recommend this for competitive play, you will get cards you can use to start a Mage or Hunter deck. I pretty much keep the decks together in my collection as a teaching tool. Plus the price drop helps make this worth it even more.
