I purchased the small size, since I'm using it instead of a cane. It not only assists me in keeping my balance, but its sturdiness gives me the support I need, due to both arthritis and a balance problem. It arrived a day earlier than projected, and the packaging was perfect to protect the product and also ecologically minded. I would recommend it completely.
Description of Twisted Hickory Walking Stick
The hickory tree is a 'Carya,' related to the Pecan. Though baseball bats are now primarily made from ash, Babe Ruth used a 47-ounce hickory bat.
