I purchased the Air Climber for myself as a birthday present to try to shed some weight. I have seen the infomercial a thousand times and thought that it looked like fun.
I received the Air Climber with the training computer already attached to it. Packed in the box was a dvd, instruction book, and the bodycord. I am using it and I must say I LOVE it. The unit itself is made very well. It is lightweight but sturdy. The footstep width on the Airclimber is wide enough so you feel as if you have good balance and control. The dvd is great with 3 workouts on it. But what I like the most is that I can warm up quickly, put my Ipod on and jam out to my workout tunes and get a great workout no matter how long I want to workout. The instruction book has all exercises that are in the dvd.
I have read that some people have trouble with the bellows on the unit. PLEASE NOTE that when you get your Air Climber home it needs to SIT at ROOM TEMP. for a while because of the bellows. ALSO, before using it you need to inflate the bellows and after using it you need to deflate the bellows. This is not a pain and it only takes 2 seconds to do it.
As far as purchasing mine I did so on EBAY for $89.00 which included shipping. If you do decide to purchase it online please make sure whoever you are purchasing it from has a RETURN policy.
I have been working out on the Air Climber for a 1/2 hour per day for 1 week. I am also "trying" to drink more water and watch what I eat. So far I have lost 3 pounds. That might not sound like a lot of weight but 3 pounds a week is 12 pounds lost for the month. What I am really happy about is I find the Air Climber fun to use so I dont mind working out each day. I would recommend the Air Climber to anyone and I have, it's actually a workout that you might just stick with.
