Hi,
Bought the Touch and Brush a few weeks back. I installed it in the kids bathroom. I didnt attach it to a mirror but instead attached the suction cups to the tile on the wall. It holds very firmly. You just push the end of the tube into the unit until the toothpaste tube nozzle is firmly down in the unit. Then just pump the bottom lever thing until you build up pressure/vacuum.
The instructions say that when inserting a NEW tube you should only have to prime it 3 times for it to be ready. Mine took longer to pump up (like 20 pushes) because I was not using a new tube of toothpaste. Once its primed, you dont have to prime it again, just using it primes it for the next squirt of toothpaste.
I have a daughter with only one hand, and she thinks its great. My son is indifferent. But that is because he does not notice the mess he used to leave behind using the toothpaste. You wouldnt think it would be complicated for a boy to squeeze out some toothpaste onto a toothbrush. But it used to look like a warzone in the bathroom. Now the counter top stays much cleaner.
You still have to clean up the bottom of the touch and brush every now and then. The boy can't seem to just push the toothbrush into the touch and brush without wiggling it around.... But it is easer to clean up the touch and brush than the counter or the kids sleeves with toothpaste on them.
So anyway, I dont buy many Seen on TV things, but this seems to work. It also saves space.
Customer Review: Love this thing! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
My 5 yr old daughter made me mad every night when it was time to brush her teeth. She'd go into the bathroom, only to come out 5-10 minutes later with the toothpaste and brush in hand, having nothing done, because she could never get the paste on the brush. Finally I was so fed up one night, that I did a search for automatic toothpaste dispenser and found this. I actually ended up buying it at my local BigLots for a little cheaper than on here. It installed on my mirror in about 2 seconds and has been in place for about 4 days now. The toothpaste tube fit into the dispenser easily and it works like a charm. It squeezes the perfect amount of paste out for either me or my kids (if they want less, they can just let off of the button without pressing it all the way). It keeps them from over-using the toothpaste. It keeps the mess off of the counter. It makes brushing faster. It is awesome. I also use dispensers for my shampoo and soap in the shower. I guess I'm just a "dispenser" type of person. I think they are handy.
Oh- and I read that it makes a mess. I don't think it would ever make a mess if an adult only is using it. My kids tend to touch the paste squirter part with their brush and get paste on it, which wipes off easily. I can see how a thinner toothpaste might leak out (like the crest pro-health). we are using close-up in it currently and it seems to be the perfect consistency.

After seeing this in the store several times I finally took the leap and purchased it. The directions are clear and easy to follow simply attach the toothpaste to the holder, snap on the lid and use either the suction cups or the tape. Because ours is located in the shower, I use the suction cups. It's been up for over three months and hasn't slipped once. I've removed it a few times just so I can clean under the surface where the suction cups are.
I want to point out I've never made a mess using this product. In the 100X times or so we've used it, there has not been a single drop of toothpaste that has not made it's way on the brush. The number of bad reviews on this product I believe, is simple user error OR a child playing with it which is then making a mess of things. I've read others complaining about it not sticking to their tile, you just have to use common sense. If you're an adult who can read simple directions and you don't have a child who will constantly play with it then I would definitely suggest buying this.
Customer Review: Great little invention! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
My kids had been begging for this item for months. Everytime the commercial would come on tv they would run around yelling about how they had to have a Touch N Brush. So I decided that Santa would bring them just what they wanted! In reality though, I think this ended up being more of a present for me than for my kids! This little dispenser keeps the toothpaste off the counter and on the toothbrushes, and lets them get their own toothpaste without the mess. They love using it! It was so easy to put together and install the toothpaste into. We had it up and running in minutes. Anything that makes toothbrushing fun is worth it to me.
The Touch N Brush comes with an electric toothbrush. Just throw it away. It is literally the worst toothbrush I've ever used in my life. The head of the toothbrush is so small, and the bristles are so soft that you can't get anywhere with it. But the Touch N Brush itself is what I paid for, and that is definitely worth five stars.
Customer Review: Awesome no more toothpaste on the counters Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I am shocked by negative reviews of this. I waited a while before reviewing, i have had this now for more than 2 months. I have 3 little kids-7 yr old, a 4 yr old, and a 2 year old. We bought the spongebob one but it is the same manufacturer. I bought this out of desperation because my bathrooms looked soooo bad after the kids brushed their teeth. There was toothpaste everywhere, on the mirror, the floor, the towels were covered, the sink and countertop were also covered. I read the reviews and figured i had a 50-50 chance of how it would work. It has not fallen off one time, it sticks great to the mirror. it does NOT leak toothpaste. We have no more messes in our bathroom. I just ordered two more, one for my in-laws bathroom and one for my husband as he doesnt know how to put the lid back on the toothpaste and it is always gummed up at the opening.
