Every dedicated cyclist needs a good portable pump for his or her training rides. However, many on-the-go pumps are somewhat clunky and not all that easy to use. Enter the Topeak Road Morph G, which packs floor pump efficiency and ease of use into a compact, portable design you can bring along for the ride. The Road Morph G boasts a clever foldout footpad that stabilizes the pump against the ground rather than your hand, creating a comfortable, efficient pumping motion. Plus, the pump's flexible air hose makes it easy to work with awkward or tight valve placements while also helping prevent valve stem damage. Other features include an extra-long barrel, an inline gauge, a secure mounting bracket, a Presta/Schrader head, and a plastic thumb lock. The Road Morph G measures 2.2 by 13.8 by 1.1 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 0.49 pounds.

Customer Review: Can't go wrong with this one
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I just got the pump in today and quickly tested it out by deflating my front wheel tire on my bike. The took the pump out of the package and started pumping up the tire. With little effort, I was able to get to 120psi. I couldn't believe it, so I checked it with my regular floor pump. Sure enough, it was right. The pump works great and although it is bigger than a mini pump, it is still slick enough to put on my ti-road bike. Since I do a lot of ultracycling, I need to have a pump that is dependable and I think I just found it.

Customer Review: Great little pump
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

Ive only pumped up my road bike 23cc tires a couple of times using this pump. As with all tiny hand pumps it gets semi hard to pump past 90 psi. The good thing is no matter how awkwardly I force this pump it doesn't seem to give out. Its very lightweight but sturdy at the same time. This pump also comes with an adapter that will screw onto your water bottle holder. The guage is OK but doesn't give you much of a gradient. Topeak makes great products, so I won't be surprised if this pump lasts me at least a couple of years.

Customer Review: excellent frame pump
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

The Topeak Road Morph G pump I purchased via Amazon in August 2009 is actually the second Road Morph G pump I have owned. The first lasted 5,500 miles in two years after regular usage and 30+ flats. When the first pump broke, I loved the model so much that it just seemed natural to buy a second. It's a great frame pump, perfect for touring: light with and accurate gauge.

Plus I love Topeak's corporate values -- the company generously sponsored a cross-country bike ride that I completed in 2007.

Customer Review: Very good product
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I have found this pump to be very useful with good designing. Specially with relatively long retracting rubber tubing you can put it on ground to pump which is essential when filling 100+PSI pressure. The gauge works just fine and well designed in a pipe like shape to save space and weight. It is also very efficient as in you really need not built up your upper body to pump some 120PSI as I thought before. The design is good in terms of folding it and putting it on the bike frame. very good product.

Customer Review: Great product
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This pump made me a hero! While riding in a 30 miler with several friends, about halfway through, one got a flat from a huge bolt in their rear tire. No problem, my patch kit and Topeak pump got them back on the road and we were all able to finish the ride as a group. This pump is great for emergencies like that, but I would still recommend a good floor pump for inflating your tires before a ride, since the small size means it takes many more strokes to fill a tire vs. a regular floor pump.
