Every dedicated cyclist needs a good portable pump for his or her training rides. However, many on-the-go pumps are somewhat clunky and not all that easy to use. Enter the Topeak Road Morph G, which packs floor pump efficiency and ease of use into a compact, portable design you can bring along for the ride. The Road Morph G boasts a clever foldout footpad that stabilizes the pump against the ground rather than your hand, creating a comfortable, efficient pumping motion. Plus, the pump's flexible air hose makes it easy to work with awkward or tight valve placements while also helping prevent valve stem damage. Other features include an extra-long barrel, an inline gauge, a secure mounting bracket, a Presta/Schrader head, and a plastic thumb lock. The Road Morph G measures 2.2 by 13.8 by 1.1 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 0.49 pounds.

Sports reviews of Topeak Road Morph G Bike Pump with Gauge

Customer Review: Excellent mini "floor" pump
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I bought this pump to replace my original Topek Mini MasterBlaster. This pump is so much easier to use. It fit right into the previous holder on my bike too. This has the a little piece that you can stand on to brace yourself while you pump, but the best part is that you pump by pushing down with your body weight - which is great for people with less upper body strength. The only problem I have had so far is that the cap is almost too tight - and I broke off a presta tip the first time I used that - but maybe that's just my poor technique. I still love it and would reccomend it - especially for women and kids.

Customer Review: Nice pump
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

My last pump got run over by a car after coming loose from it's tension-mount on a busy road. As a result, I am grateful for the nice secure mounting bracket with velcro strip for added insurance. The pump is nice and small, but pumps a lot of air with a lot less effort than other pumps I've used. I like the hose that prevents putting pressure on the valve while pumping. A few things that would make the pump better: 1) Make the handle a little wider in it's horizontal position, 2) Make the gauge more precise and easier to read. All in all, the best pump I've seen for my needs and at a good price too.

Customer Review: Great Little Device.
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

A fellow cyclist stopped with me when I had a flat tire during a bike club ride. After I put in a new tube and started to pump it up with my mini-frame pump, he suggested that I try his pump. I was amazed that I could pump a road bike tire to 110 psi with so little effort. It takes some pumping, but at least you can get there. I knew right then that I had to have a Topeak Road Morph. I feel much more secure on the road knowing that I can pump a tire to where it needs to be rather than just enough to get home. This is one of the best investments that I have ever made in bicycle equipment.

Customer Review: Nice little pump
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

Of all the pumps I've had on my bikes over the last 30 years, this has been the best. Having a hose to help minimize accidental damage to the valve stem when filling, the foot peg which helps stabilize the pump, and a 'T' handle to give you something to bear down on when going to 120 psi. The only issues I've ever had with the pump is being able to read the gauge with my old eyes and getting tired with larger diameter tires, 20s are easy 23s become a bit more trouble. It is a small volume pump, but it will get to the pressure of a road tire without too much problem.

Customer Review: Glad I bought it
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

The fold out foot pad and handle makes pumping up tires very quick and easy compared to simply holding a pump in your hands. Depending on how strong your arms are, they may make the difference between reaching higher tire pressures, or not. At 13.75" overall it may be a little long to store on some mountain bikes, but they do make a mini version if space is an issue. The gauge is accurate enough to use on the road. The nylon ties came in handy to place the mounting clip where the pump won't interfere with a water bottle cage and cables.
