Every dedicated cyclist needs a good portable pump for his or her training rides. However, many on-the-go pumps are somewhat clunky and not all that easy to use. Enter the Topeak Road Morph G, which packs floor pump efficiency and ease of use into a compact, portable design you can bring along for the ride. The Road Morph G boasts a clever foldout footpad that stabilizes the pump against the ground rather than your hand, creating a comfortable, efficient pumping motion. Plus, the pump's flexible air hose makes it easy to work with awkward or tight valve placements while also helping prevent valve stem damage. Other features include an extra-long barrel, an inline gauge, a secure mounting bracket, a Presta/Schrader head, and a plastic thumb lock. The Road Morph G measures 2.2 by 13.8 by 1.1 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 0.49 pounds.

Sports reviews of Topeak Road Morph G Bike Pump with Gauge

Customer Review: Nice for the size - a few *Key* features
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I bought this pump for a few specific reasons and it has worked out great. First - it's compact size allows it to fit on my road bike. Second - It has a built in gauge that so far, has actually been pretty accurate. Third - It has a small host which allows you to use this pump with one end on the ground rather than holding both ends and stressing out the stem.

The stock picture makes it look like the handle is much bigger - it's actually the same size as the pump body when folded down. The little foot piece is a bit small, but sufficient for the whole design of the unit.

They include a mounting bracket that can attach either with bottle cage screws/bungs or with zip ties.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy this pump again. I really like it.

Customer Review: The best frame pump available
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This pump may be a few more grams weight on your bike compared to a mini pump but the ease and convenience of using it when you actually do get a flat outweigh the only two possible drawbacks of this pump, which is the weight and the price. It does not weigh that much more anyway than a mini pump. And Amazon has a very good price on this pump, maybe the best. I got a flat last weekend and got to put this to the test. It performed wonderfully. Almost as easy as my floor pump. Because of my bike unique frame, I could not mount it on my top tube, and I did not want to mount it on the seat tube. Fortunately, I was able to mount it on the side next to my rear rack. I also hate rattles and this pump is absolutely silent, even over rough roads.

Customer Review: Really neat to use
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I thought I would never see a day when I would enjoy pumping my bicycle tires, but this product made me actually look forward to the experience.

Don't let the small size of this gadget fool you. This device can easily pump 80 psi and probably lot more by just using your arms. I do not even need to use the foot stabilizer. Unless you are in the business of pumping bicycle tires, this should meet every bicycle tire needs of the entire household. This pump will not need to play second fiddle to the deluxe and heavy industrial grade steel tire pumps.

It has a gauge which seems to accurately gage how much pressure is in the tire. I highly recommend it as your primary bicycle tire pump.

Customer Review: pump with gauge
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I bought this pump for those occassions if I get a flat and have to pump up the tire after repairing the tube. I've used the others that are smaller and require that you use both hands and have you pumping a million times, pouring sweat just to get a little air. I hated those. This is the greatest portable pump that I have ever used. You can stand on the little foot lever for stability and you push down on the handle until the gauge reads the amount of air you need in the tire. It has a hose on the end of the inflating piece so that you don't need to hold it to prevent it from shredding the inner tube valve. I was able to inflat the tire to 100 psi in just a few minutes and didn't even break a sweat.

Customer Review: Excellent Pump!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This pump is awesome because it truly offers floor pump ease of use, but frame pump portability. I have it strapped to my frame all the time, and the attachment is sturdy. Pumping is easy because the hose allows you to put the pump on the ground and push down; no broken valve stems or anything like you get with mini pumps. I can easily fill my mountain bike tires to 65psi, but I believe the reviews that say they achieve 100+psi. The gauge is nice, but probably not the most accurate as it seems to "click" every 5psi. I never used one before though, so accuracy isn't a big deal for me. The pump is small enough to put in my messenger bag too, so it doesn't have to be exclusively a frame pump. Buy it!
