Sports reviews of Topeak JoeBlow Max II Floor Bike Pump

Customer Review: Floor pump
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I purchased this after reading other reviews on the Amazon site, as well as watching a video from Bike Man. I really wanted a floor pump rather than a frame mount, since I not only have a mountain bike for my own old bones (61), I don't mind filling up the neighbor kids tires in the spring either. I used to load them all up in my pickup and take them to a local gas station, now I can do that right in my front yard.

I like than a sports ball inflating needle was included, I never can find one when I want my other one.

Good buy all things considered.

Clint.

Customer Review: Works great for my uses
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I purchased this pump for my bike tires and exercise ball. The hand pump that came with a 75cm ball was a joke! I've only owned one pump before, and it was a foot pump that was also a joke. So far, for my uses, this pump works great. The gauge is accurate as compared to other gauges we have around the house. It took a couple of minutes to inflate the exercise ball. Bike tires were a breeze--a few pumps and done. I stayed away from some of the cheaper pumps due to the poor reviews. Maybe they would have worked fine, but I'm happy with what I've got.

Customer Review: Great bike pump
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This thing rocks. Very easy to use, but it's kind of scary how many psi you can pump into your bike tires. I actually stopped before hitting the recommended psi pressure of my tires because I thought I was going to end up on TruTV with a horrible reenactment of myself getting smacked in the face with a bunch of rubber. Oh yeah, and 2 days after I finally pumped up my tires, someone jacked them. My first words were, "People still swipe bicycle tires?" Lesson learned, always chain up your stuff, don't be lazy.

Customer Review: A good floor pump
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This is a good floor pump for the price. If you use this pump just for normal usage, this is it! Very smooth, and very easy to see the air gage indicator. This pump has two bulbs (French and American). You need to put the lever completely down to the opposite direction to use either bulb properly. Also this pump is equipped with the attachment for balls, although I don't know how it works since I have never tried it.

Overall, this is one of the safest choice.

Customer Review: Well Made and Good Deal for the Price
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

You can tell the floor pump was made with thought; the air line mounts are placed to where it keeps the pump handle from sliding out when carrying it. For the price it is a well-made, decently heavy duty pump that will not break on you within the first few times of use like some of the cheaper counter parts will. Inflates my mountain bike tires to 60 psi with little effort. Quality purchase and can be used for a lot of different types of inflation.
