Pretty much every tool you will need in a compact case. Tool seams solidly built except for maybe the plastic parts, but you have to shave weight somewhere. It is not the same as having all the tools seperate. Don't plan on using it for routine maintenance, just for emergency repairs/adjustments. Ergonimacally it can be a little awkward to use, but it gets the job done. I used cable ties to mount mine to the seat post, as low as it will go. If it gets lost or stolen, I will replace it with the same model. It is worth the $$ just for the peace of mind knowing that you have pretty much whatever tool you may need.Customer Review: wonderful tool.

I bought this tool 2 weeks ago. Not only does this tool do everything for a bike but also is in a small and handles easily. The spoke wrench works to perfection, the chain tool is nothing short of great, however the tool is just a little heavy. Other than the weight (which is no big deal) this tool is a fantastic buy. Also with this tool say good-bye to that unorganized cluter of tools in the shed/shop all the standard size tools are on the Topeak Alien II. I only wish I had found it at this price before purchasing mine. I highly recommend this product to anyone who'll need quick repairs on their bicycle.Customer Review: All functionality needed

Following great tradition of Alien tools this item provides all one needs for typical maintenance and repair of bicycles in amazingly small form. I have used the original Alien tool for years and this one adds more useful features in the same format.
My only gripe vs. the original tool is air-travel related. Original Alien tool didn't have any parts that could be interpreted as a "weapon" and it was easy to carry it on air flights. This, Alien II I wouldn't dare bring as a carry-on. Couple of knife-like implements are good functional add-ons but cause this issue...

I read other reviews on this product before I bought it, and I am very pleased with the reviews I read, they were accurate, and I am very pleased with the tool. It is indeed the swiss army knife of bicycle tools. I don't mind the weight to be honest,(which were some people's complaint), I carry it in my backpack so the weight really not a factor. It is easy to use and the two haves concept is pretty cool. I've used it a couple of times and I am extremely pleased with its durability and performance. I just bought this from niagara cycle works. I am not advertising, but although they are not a prime provider, they give excellent service. I bought this tool kit along with other 2 items. When the package came to me, this tool is missing. I reported to them and they shipped the tool immediately. But that was another story. Well, this tool is also fantastic. It is not only beautiful but useful. It contains almost every function that may be useful fixing a bike(if it is not a bike, this tool may be useless). I love it. I love Topeak.
