It features a chest strap heart rate monitor, easily accessible function buttons, durable resin case, and comfortable resin strap with a stylish tapered profile. For integrating heart rate monitoring into your training, this watch enables you to continuously track your heart rate during exercise as well as pre-set target heart rate zones with alarms that notify you when you are out of the zone. It also offers an automatic activity timer and a workout review that recalls activity time and average/peak heart rates. If you are looking for an accurate heart rate monitor that calculates calories you cannot beat this deal. The HRM is just as accurate as a more expensive watch, ie., Suunto, although it does not have certain bells and whistles that may be attractive to beginners, ie., workout programs and tips. This watch also keeps track of time while your monitor is active, but does not have a stop watch that you can turn on and off.
Bottom line - my friend paid $150 for a heart rate monitor and was very disappointed to learn that this watch does almost everything his does.

Great consistent tracking of my heart rate and workout stats to aid my training. Great, snug chest strap that I wear during intense training.(running, weightlifting, basketball practice). Just perfect! and I don't need to put any gel on. My chest sweat is all the lubrication I need lmao.
(side note: I have one chest hair strand on my chest, so for the hairy chest gorillas that are worried about this monitor not working for them, don't let my review fool you. From some other reviews it seems like the hairy dudes are having trouble getting accurate readings)

Training for a stage mountain bike ride this spring. I have never formally "trained" before, so this is my first HRM. Had it for 2 months now and I love it. I've had no problems with signal. I particularly like the warning beep if you get out of your preset zone. Also replaceable battery (many of the other monitors out there do not have replaceable battery which seems ridiculous to me). This is a basic model (they say "for fitness") so it does not have more advanced features like graphs, etc which would be nice but for the price I don't think you can beat this.Customer Review: works well and unexpected benefits

I bought this but at first, I was upset because it was analog transmission and not modern digital. I went to the YMCA to exercise, and I was surprised to find that every exercise machine I used would pick up the signal and display the heart rate and use the data to keep track of my progress. So the analog transmission is a standard and most machines only a year or two old seem to follow the standard. That's probably not true for the proprietary digital methods of the newer more expensive watch monitors. So, it's an unexpected benefit and I am well pleased.Customer Review: Excellent!

As a woman, I was skeptical about buying a fitness watch with a chest strap. I got this watch as a replacement for another watch which did not have one and needed to be sent to the manufacturer just to change the battery. I specifically wanted one that had user replaceable batteries, and with all the good reviews of this watch, I decided to try it. I LOVE IT so far...the chest strap is very comfortable, I hardly even know it's there. It's accurate, easy to use, and extremely helpful in my workouts and tracking my calorie burn each day. Highly recommend!!
