This digital wristwatch-style monitor continuously tracks your heart rate via a comfortable, elastic chest strap (which fists chest sizes from 25 to 53 inches). The large, easy-to-read display recalls your activity time and average, peak, and minimum heart rate, and it includes 12/24 hour time and month/date display. It also features INDIGLO night light backlighting, up to 2 years of battery life, and is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet)--enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.

was pleasantly surprized with how well this works and the great price. I ride bike and really adjusted my rides to try to get my heart rate up to my 85% range, I had a hard time doing it so I knew I needed to push it more. wore it whiile using my treadmill and elliptical and the monitor read the same as they did so I knew it we accurate. very pleased with this - will buy another when ever I need to.Customer Review: Timex T5G941

Works great. I work out on LifeFitness and some other brand equipment. It picks up the signal no problem. I have not seen any problem what so ever with bleed over onto the machines next to the one I'm using. For the price you can't beat it. It does not have a lot of features but for what I wanted it (keeping track of heart rate while working out), it work perfect. I 've found the Timex T6G941 to be much more useful. It has eliminated all the frills and simply provides me with the information I need during the day as I sense fluctuations in my heart rate. The sensor belt I thought would be a problem, but I can't even tell I'm wearing it! I hope to enjoy months, even years, with my Timex. When necessary, however, I certainly will replace it with another.Customer Review: simple and easy to read.

I'm at that middle age (eyes can't see up close) part of my life, and have had heart monitors that show many wonder items (that you don't want or need) and that you can't see.
This is different.
You can see (big numbers) the time.
Push one button, and see your heart rate (also big)
Don't know how long it's going to last, but, at $35, why would one worry?

The monitor has been working fine! Seems to have good communication between the watch and chest strap. There is an almost inaudible tone that comes from the chest strap that correlates to that heart rate, which confirms that it is picking up the rate without looking at the watch during attachment. I find it comfortable and durable. I even wear the watch most days...
