Sports reviews of Timex T5G941 Heart Rate Monitor WatchCustomer Review: Great, simple heart rate monitor Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
When I was shopping for a heart rate monitor, I was shocked to see all of the choices out there. This heart rate monitor is just that, a heart rate monitor. It is not fancy with complicated functions that you would need to take a class to learn how to use. It is simple. It's a watch or a heart rate monitor. To switch back in forth, only one large button needs to be pushed. It will also record your workout time, average heart rate, and peak heart rate. I love the simplicity of it. And I have had great success with it quickly picking up my heart rate.
Customer Review: The Timex Heart Rate Monitor that keeps on ticking Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Purchased the Timex Heart Rate Monitor because I needed to monitor my pulse for medical reasons. It is comfortable to wear the band around the chest. You need to moisten before connecting, a little difficult to get the clip just right. The watch on the wrist is well balanced and easy to read. The hardest part was the initial setting of the watch. It works perfectly, I can keep it on all day while working around the house, biking or walking. Perfect if you need to monitor your heart rate. The price was very affordable.
Customer Review: Syncs with cardio machine Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I'm not sure if it is supposed to, but the heart rate monitor syncs with the cardio machines at my gym. And even the cardio machines next to me, which is great for me, but sucks for the people trying to work out next to me. It is perfect for tracking your heart rate while doing high intensity interval training on an elliptical because it's hard to look at the watch when you're going really fast. I am able to just look at the display on the machine. Also, it reacts very quickly and is fairly comfortable.
Customer Review: My wife loves it! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I got this as a gift for my wife, and she has been very pleased with it! She finds the interface easy to use, and the strap is not uncomfortable or an inconvenience. She also did not have any of the problems others reported with the strap not getting a reading. One nice added bonus she found was that the strap is able to be picked up by many of the machines in our YMCA, so she doesn't even have to look at the watch when using a treadmill, elliptical, etc. Great product, and a great price!
Customer Review: Quit dithering, just buy it! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
As an out of shape senior citizen I had to be careful about pushing my heart rate too high. Strenuous exercise would easily kick it over 200 beats a minute. I bought a wrist type monitor, then treadmill with pulse handgrips and in both cases my rate would be all over the scale.
I finally decided to try one with a chest band. I bought one for my wife and myself and we have been using them for about a month. This does everything I have wanted...Accurately monitor my heart rate.
