The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving. All Timex heart rate monitor sensors have batteries that can be replaced by consumers without requiring them to be returned to the manufacturer.

Has all the usual heart rate monitor functions, but in contrast to the lower end Polar monitors, it has a heart rate recovery function that can be set for periods of either one or two minutes. I have had my Timex for one year and it works well. The only feature I do not like is the profoundly ugly band so the monitor does not go to the office.Customer Review: Great Value!

I am very pleased with this product and have had no problems with getting a continuous read on my heart rate. Besides this, it's a full-feature watch. I paid more than this price for my last watch, which had no heart rate monitor. I highly recommend it!Customer Review: Great running watch.

I use this running and it works great. The only issue I have experienced is the HR chest strap contacts need to get wet before it picks up heart rate. This seems to be a problem with many brands of HR monitors. I would definitely buy again.Customer Review: Meet all my expectations...

Easy to use, accurate and easy to maintain. Strap's sensor battery may be changed by user. Loved the feature of taking measurements per lap and reviewing each lap's statistics.
