The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving. All Timex heart rate monitor sensors have batteries that can be replaced by consumers without requiring them to be returned to the manufacturer.

My wife and I both purchased one of these watches, and neither one kept accurate heart rate information. My didn't work at all, and my wife's is inconsistently working/not working. I like the features but wish the heart rate monitor was more reliable.Customer Review: Junk!!

I bought this for a friend a few years ago on Amazon..then I bought one just over a year ago for myself. I wish my friend would have warned me about the "junk I had bought her" rather than me buying two of these (but I probably would have concealed my thoughts on an expensive purchase that a friend gave me as well if it was found to be junk as to not sound ungrateful. This watch fell apart after having it 13 months so I called Timex and was told the warranty would not cover it anymore and would cost $34 to replace the plastic piece that goes around the facepiece (probably cost Timex 5 cents). Will not purchase again. Paid $90 for it...band broke after about 6 months..really poorly made. Used for jogging..not swimming or in the shower..etc. Junk!Customer Review: Worked well... when it worked

I bought this monitor in January when I started spinning classes in addition to step aerobics. Worked well and had all the features that I wanted. But then it suddenly stopped working in May. Under warranty I contacted Timex. It took 5 weeks to finally get a new working watch and chest strap. Then the chest strap broke in September in a way that is unfixable. I give up. The watch works but the HRM function stopped working and it was not the battery. It only worked for 3-4 days, then nothing. Don't buy this product!
