Got this item shipped from Amazon on Time.I bought this item after reading reviews on Amazon. We were going to Mena Arkansas and up talimena drive and wanted to take Tea (Indian). Did wash and pre-heat as per instructions. The beverage was still at high temperature when we first opened up after 3 hrs. even after 24 hrs the beverage was more than warm. Its is good for family as volume is high. We had to throw the content away after 30 hrs or so because it contained milk and we didnt want to take risk. There is small smell of beverage kept in container but I guess it may be because of first use or something that cannot be avoided. I am giving 4 starts because of this.

it looks good and the price is about right. The only thing I've noticed so far is that the inner screw top plug has a thin thin smooth rim that is difficult to grab onto. If the top is screwed in tightly or your hands have a little arthritis it can be very frustrating and a bit painful to work loose. A more generous sized and fluted screwtop would be much easier to work with. I'm going to glue an accessory handle top onto mine using Gorilla glue which I've found works on anything reliably.

Keeps enough water very cold for a 2hr tennis match and doesn't leak or sweat in my bag...which is why I bought a Thermos for this. Crescent shaped ice cubes from an automatic ice maker fit fine. Giant cubes from the old fashioned trays probably don't. The only slight ding is that the outer shell dents easily owing to thinner sheet metal than I would have liked - yes, a nitpick.

This thermos is well made and works great...only thing that might need improvement is the screw in stopper. It's a little hard to grip and actually hurts my hand when I tighten it a little bit to prevent any leaking. I WOULD recommend highly, as this unit will hold a whole pot of coffee with room to spare.
