This was the best thermos I ever bought for my husband. He loves it! It holds a full 12 cup pot of coffee with sugar/cream. He works outdoors in very cold weather and the coffee is still steaming hot when he refills his cup. He likes the way the stopper has a pour spout so he doesn't have to take the stopper completely out and lose all the heat. He even had leftover coffee one day and it was still hot the next morning, 24 hours later!
This thermos lives up to its name and description. Great buy! I would buy another if I ever needed a second one.

My husband wanted a thermos so he could have coffee at his desk during his work day. He is extremely satisfied with this thermos. It keeps his coffee hot from the time he leaves daily until he returns at night. He has begun putting a pot of coffee in it as soon as it is brewed on the weekends also rather than leaving the pot on warm for hours. He said he didn't know how bad the coffee at work really was until he began bringing his from home. No more of sitting for hours on a warming tray for his cup of coffee!!! I have been carrying one type of Thermos bottle or another since 1937! This 2 qt. Steel Thermos is the greatest ever. Since we retired, my husband and I have traveled in a motorhome from border to border and coast to coast. Keeping his coffee hot all day has always been a real challenge. I checked out all of the reviews prior to purchasing this one and we have not been disappointed. This last trip we put 6200 miles on the coach and not once did he have to drink luke warm coffee. Great...Huge....perfect size for the 4-member "green" coffee club here at work.....works out to 16 oz each per day and we can save on the trash impact and messy hassle of styrofoam and paper cups and carriers that were going in the garbage every day and not to mention spilling on everything. Every coffee vendor so far has filled it up and sometimes even at a discount. Coffee stay piping hot all day too. Do the earth a favor and use the re-fill system instead of filling landfills.Customer Review: Scalded 18 Hours Later

Hot enough to get scalded 18 hours later! The first time I used it, I poured hot water into my thermos just before 6am. But then, I forgot to bring my thermos out with me that day. As I was emptying the thermos at about midnight and thinking that it's at best luke warm ..... Boy, was I wrong. I ended up being careless and scalded the back of my left hand. What a lesson! Can't really blame the thermos. In fact, I love it more everyday ever since.
