The Ripple is an inline action board that fuses sufing, snowboarding and skateboarding. The Wave's two wheel rotating design makes it fun for sharp turns and 360's. The flexible platforms allows you to carve uphill and downhill. Like the Wave, the Ripple is distinguished by a spring-oriented torsion bar that controls the flexible front and rear panels, along with a pair of fully rotating 360-degree wheels with ABEC5 bearings. Once on the board, the rider merely twists his or her hips back and forth in an S-shaped motion to propel down the street, with no foot propulsion required. Even better, it takes only a few minutes to learn how to ride the Ripple. Within a few hours, most riders will become proficient. And riders needn't worry about the Ripple's durability, as the platforms are made of a virtually indestructible ABS plastic, while the steel torsion bar never wears down. This "Cyclone" version of the Ripple, which is designed for riders between the ages of 5 and 14, measures 28 by 8 by 5 inches (W x H x D), weighs 8 pounds, and carries a one-year warranty.

I found this product to be well priced and quickly delivered. Our daughter tried her older brother's Wave but found it difficult to maneuver and control so we got her the Junior so they could Wave together. It's great balance and core stabilization exercise, and they have a great time together and with neighborhood friends (don't forget the helmet). Good, clean fun! The ripstick junior was easier for all my children to learn on. I got the junior ripstick for my 9 year old. But my 4 older teen agers all wanted to learn on his and then use theirs. Very sturdy and a great buy! Does take a little time to learn how to do it. My kids helped each other by holding on to each other as they learned. Don't let kids give up because once they learn how to balance on it and make it move, they have a lot of fun!!Customer Review: This Board Rocks! (review by 8 year old boy)

I think this board is perfect if you're 8 because the other boards are too wide and big. When I ride it my feet are near the black edge and they are a little wider than my shoulders. It's easy to ride and I'm already really good at it in just one day. Buy this board! It looks so cool and rocks! And have fun on your new wave board.Customer Review: Awesome!!

I bought this for my son after seeing it online. When we got it, I was a little concerned that it would be hard for him to do. But, after a little practicing, he was able to ride it with no problem. My son wanted a mini ripstick and we saw this as a cheaper alternative. He loves it and never said a thing about it being any different than a mini ripstick. He rides it non stop!
