I bought this on recommendation from my Physical Therapist to work on my IT Band. Like a foam roller, it hurts like a mutha if you really get after it, but seems to be working the kinks out and allowing me to continue with normal training activities. Where the foam roller is more of a general tool, the Stick allows you to really target one specific area to work on, which seems beneficial to me.Customer Review: Does what is advertised

Used it quite a bit when I first got it, not so much now. It's good for rolling out calves mainly, not so good for hamstrings bc of the shape of the leg. It's a decent design with the individual rollers and seems to be constructed sturdily so it will probably last a long time. Kind of pricey for a basically a stick, you could use a rolling pin with same results.Customer Review: Good Item, Not great description

I liked the stick, but I really don't think that they did a good job describing it. They said on the site that it was half a foot shorter, and it ended up taking about a week longer than it said to be delivered. The stick is such a simple invention, but it is a must for athletes with sore muscles. Most of us can't afford to have a massage therapist on our staff, so The Stick is a great tool for rolling out your muscles and getting rid of soreness.Customer Review: Helpful for Trigger Points

This tool is helpful in getting at hard to reach trigger points. Individuals who are tight or have a larger frame would be well served to invest in a bigger version of the stick. I find this model flexes sooner than I would like.
