The lightweight, instantly adjustable Step platform has a slip-proof, durable mat on top, and non-marking rubber floor pads on the bottom of the platform and the blocks. It has a generous 14 x 40 inches stepping surface that adjust to 4, 6, and 8 inches. The black and gray platform and blocks are made of high density polyethylene, and they support up to 200 pounds.

This step is exceptionally sturdy and easy to assemble. I was dubious at first because it doesn't require any clips or other connections. You just stack the base pieces and set the step panel on top. The pieces fit together so well and the built-in traction is so effective that when assembled the step feels totally stable. I use it on a polished wooden floor and it doesn't slide at all. It is working well and taking a beating. And so is the Original Health Club Step. I have been looking for an exercise program that will fit my lifestyle - and at home exercising is the way to go for me, so when I decided to buy a step, I wanted it to look like and behave like the ones I'd seen at the gym. This step is a quality piece of equiptment. It is sturdy and strong and can manage a large amount of weight. Also, when you are doing aerobic moves on it, it does not topple over and come apart like other steps that I have used. It also stores easily under a bed or in a closet and thus, does not clutter up your space. Very pleased with the black/gray Club Step. The bench is ample width for following step videos and laying down for bench press. The rubber gripper on top of the bench assures secure footing while working out. The risers stay in place underneath the bench and they are easy to stack or remove for desired level of challenge. I got it in two days. That is really great! It's a snap to assemble and the pieces are all light enough for anyone to assemble for use. It is very stable and as a result my wife, who uses it, enjoys utilizing it for workouts. Her calves were the only parts of her body complaining of being sore after use. However, that subsided quickly once they started getting into shape.
