Ok, I bought this step and it is the exact same as the one I used in my step aerobics class and yeah the cheaper smaller step really is a waste of money because one time in class I got there late and there were no other steps beside the smaller one and I tripped over it a million times because since it was so small the risers kept moving out from underneath it every time I stepped down.. but yes this is an amazing step and I wouldn't think of using anything else cause it probably wouldn't match up to the quality of this anyway, so the price is most definitely worth it.. Also, Amazon does ship it's orders fast.Customer Review: Original Club Step is what my class uses!

The original club step is the only step I have ever used, except when the program was first started and the club I belonged to had wooden benches made in 2 different heighths.
With the Original Club step the height level is endless from beginner to beyond advanced. It serves the purpose well.
The only negative comment is that from time to time you might get a step that is slightly warped. This prevents the step from sitting on the risers properly and it can cause the step to be somewhat noisey and a little wobbly, however, this does not cause a safety issue, just an annoyance.

If you're a step aficionado, this is the step you've used at the gym. If you've never stepped before, you may be tempted by the smaller steps price, but don't be. They are small and won't accomodate the space you need for simple step moves. This step also can double as a flat bench for lifting weights, ab work, etc., which only adds to it's worthiness. At $79.99, it's the best price found anywhere, and with no shipping, it can't be beat. I ordered mine on a Sunday evening and the package arrived on Wednesday morning. The stair step work well, is extremely sturdy and arrived exactly as depicted. It is larger than I had anticipated and of course although the pieces stay put once stacked, they don't stay together if you are attempting to move the thing which makes the item less than perfect for my uses. I was trying to use it with the Wii Your Shape and you need to be able to push the step to the side or set it aside quickly. Not going to happen with this stair step, but this is of course no fault of the manufacturer. It's wide and large and very easy to use once in place.Customer Review: Great step!

This step is very sturdy, just like the ones I've used at Lifetime Fitness in the past. Absolutely no complaints so far. Seems to be a quality-made item. I would highly recommend. Just make sure you have room for it...it seems so much smaller when it's placed in a huge work out room at a gym vs. the confines of your own home. At least in my case. Just something to keep in mind. It'd be cool if they made this in some other comptemporary or neutral colors, other than the cheesy 90s aqua blue and purple...still, a quality piece of equipment!
