I bought this step from Amazon almost three years ago, and it's held up great.
As other reviewers have mentioned, it's a full-size step, just like the ones you'd find at a gym. It's solid and sturdy, and even with weekly use, mine looks practically brand new. The black traction has not come up or worn down at all, and it's been great to have this bench to do my step workouts at home.
If you're thinking about purchasing the smaller-sized bench, you might want to bite the bullet and pay a bit more for this full-sized one since you definitely won't outgrow it and it will allow you to do any step workout out there. :-)

The lightweight, instantly adjustable Step platform has a slip-proof, durable mat on top, and non-marking rubber floor pads on the bottom of the platform and the blocks. It has a generous 14 x 40 inches stepping surface that adjust to 4, 6, and 8 inches. The teal and purple platform and blocks are made of high density polyethylene, and they support up to 200 pounds.
