I was pleasantly surprised on receiving my TransFIRMer to discover that the steps are very high quality, sturdy, and Made in USA. These steps will last forever, and I feel they're exceptionally safe due to the rubber grips on the bottom, the traction ridges on the steps themselves, and the weight (not too heavy to move around, but not flimsy either.) The package that includes the TransFIRMer steps and the three DVDs is an exceptional value.
The FIRM really works. I have been using the three DVDs that came with the TransFIRMer (but mostly Supercharged Sculpting - I love Pam!!! This is the absolute best DVD of the three) for about five months and have noticed an incredible change in my body. I'm stronger, have muscle tone and definition, and my posture has improved dramatically. My waist is smaller, and I have lost weight. I can really see sticking with the FIRM program for a long, long time.
My only wish is that the DVD menus were a bit more sophisticated.

- Use the 6" and 8" separately for a variety of Firm cardio and body sculpting moves
- Stack together to get a 14" platform perfect for targeting that hard-to-reach area between your glutes and your hamstrings
- Place side-by-side for an all-new position never used before in a Firm workout
- Place in the incline position to combine cardio and strength training with an emphasis on firming your inner thighs and the back of your legs

About The Firm
It all began in 1979 when The Firm Studio opened in South Carolina. By combining cardio and weight training, The Firm recognized that people could burn fat, build muscle, and get the bodies they wanted safely, effectively, and quickly. This cardio-plus-body-sculpting fitness hybrid--called Synergy Training--formed the basis for The Firm method then and is still central to The Firm philosophy today.
