Description of Teeter Hang Ups Gravity Boots

Any standard wood doorframe (meeting the uniform building code) can be your center for inversion with the EZ-UpTM Inversion System*, which comes complete with the Inversion Rack and Gravity Boots. Without interfering with the normal use of the door, quick-disconnect locking brackets secure to the doorframe and allow the Inversion Rack to be installed in just seconds. The Gravity Boots wrap comfortably around each ankle, securing with adjustable, self-locking ratchet buckles. Users simply hold onto the lower bar of the Rack, kick up to the upper bar, and rest each boot hook over the bar. Sports reviews of Teeter Hang Ups Gravity Boots

Customer Review: Of little use to me at this time
Sport shop rating: 2 Stars

I have the F5000 table and purchased these hoping they would be more comfortable when fully inverted than the standard rig that comes with the table. I was wrong. These have the same painful pressure points and some new ones. Very awkward to put on straight and once you invert they start to poke, pinch and bite immediately. I can invert at least 5 minutes with the standard rig but can't tolerate more than 30 seconds with these boots. I am going to keep trying them. Perhaps they will break-in or perhaps I need to experiment with different snugness settings or using some talcum powder at the pressure points. If I find they become more comfortable I will update this review. For now, 2 stars only because they are a safe, secure way of hanging. Not more comfortable, though.

Customer Review: Not worth the price or effort
Sport shop rating: 2 Stars

I tried these just after I purchased my inversion table. My ankles would hurt while hanging upside down, so I thought this might alleviate that problem. These were way too awkward and clumsy. I went back to not using the gravity boots and just decreasing the amount the table tilts to lessen the pressure on my ankles.

Customer Review: Not impressed
Sport shop rating: 1 Stars

These boots work well enough after you get them on, but they are a real pain to put on. The boots are made of very sturdy and relatively comfortable material, but the clasps are poorly designed and positioned. You really need three hands to put these boots on. It is so frustrating that it almost takes the enjoyment out of hanging upside down.

The biggest problem with these boots is that in order for the clasps to properly latch down you have to make sure that the boot sleeve (around your ankle) is properly overlapped or the clasps will not engage fully. To make matters worse, it seems that the boot sleeves automatically want to go into the wrong position by default. This is where the third hand is needed. I'm getting angry just typing about how stupid this design is. The manufacturers could solve this problem by simply making the boot sleeve a bit longer so that it does not default to the "jam" position. I know that this is probably difficult to visualize if you have never used these boots, but trust me, if you buy these boots, you will want to throw them in the trash every time you have to put them on.

Sadly, they do work well, and they are sturdy, they are just a freaking nightmare to put on. I would not recommend these boots to anybody, and I'm looking for a replacement.

Customer Review: They are too small
Sport shop rating: 1 Stars

These boots are too small for me and I am only 5'10''. As some other reviwers point out they are a pain in the butt to put on and are more painfull than what my EP-550 inversion table came with. Overall very frustrating experience. I am returning the boots as we speak. I just wish they had different sizes for people like me that have muscular build and have a hard time putting them on. Also after putting them on (a 2-3 min painfull experience) they are very hard to go inside the bars of the table and the few times that I used them I didn't feel very safe doing full inversion on the table.

Customer Review: Far too small for a large men
Sport shop rating: 1 Stars

These boots are far too small for many tall men or for those with some weight or muscles in the lower leg.

The product should be marked " small to medium ".
