The Teeter Hang Ups F5000 rotates on a pivot system. With simple arm movements (rotation is accomplished by shifting the weight of the arms), the table easily rotates to any comfortable angle. The smooth rotation allows for oscillation and intermittent traction. Adjustable roller hinges allow you to pre-select three levels to control the aggressiveness of rotation, and the tether strap allows you to pre-select the maximum angle of inversion. Comfortable ankle clamps hold you securely while inverting. Additional support can be gained by use of the optional Teeter Hang Ups Gravity Boots.
It's able to lock at full 90 degrees inversion (this is only possible when using the more aggressive roller hinge setting). While at 90 degrees, you can perform inverted sit-ups and squats. The table is self-controlled and can be unlocked with simple arm movements.

My wife and I are both 64 years old and have both suffered with back trouble for years. My wife's problem was made much worse after a rear end car wreck in 2002. She was facing eminent back surgery which could have left her even worse off. We saw the commercial on tv about the Teeter Hangups. We discussed buying one then decided to do some more research. We got on the internet and read the reviews about the product at the Teeter website. But we wondered if the reviews were from real people. I decided to check with Amazon to see if they sold the Teeter Hangups, and discovered that they did. I read all the reviews at Amazon, pro and con. At least I knew they were from real people. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive. We ordered one. We got it and set it up, an easy task with the included DVD. I could tell right away that the product was well made. We have never been sorry. This product is absolutely fantastic. My backaches are gone after only a month. Best of all my wife's backaches are gone. She can work out in the flower garden for the first time in years. Pain free!! Had struggled with almost constant sciatica due to degenerative disk disease. When pain became severe, I would have an epidural injection and return to my baseline, which wasn't very good. Working full time as an RN, I was willing to try almost anything. Having seen the Teeter Hang up, I researched the theory behind the anti gravity effect this product provided and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! I started out slow with the length of time I would "hang" and felt almost immediate relief. This product sits in my living room and I use it a couple times a day for up to five minutes each time. I have no leg pain and haven't felt this pain free in years. It was easy to assemble and is built very sturdy and strong. Although at first, I was a little nervous about it's ability, I now have complete faith and am so glad I gave this product a try. I strongly recommend this product for anyone with a similar condition.

I bought it for low back pain-somewhat helpful for this issue, but not as great as I had hoped. Works really well for neck issues. My first surprise benefit was a cure to my migraines I had suffered with for years-I guess it is due to the increased blood flow to head. After several years of inverting as soon as I felt a migraine coming on (the migraine would then go away), I now don't even get them in the first place. Other unexpected benefit-fertility. I was having trouble getting pregnant at age 40 (had been trying for a year and was getting ready to start down the obstetric path) when the inversion board arrived. I got pregnant that month. I got pregnant two more times over the next 4 years, each time after trying only a couple of months. I completely believe this fertility was due to the inversion board and the laws of gravity. I would invert several times a day. Anecdoctal evidence, but even in my early 30s, it had taken me 6 or 7 months to get pregnant without the inversion board, so I have to believe my experience was more than luck.Customer Review: This is the real deal

My general rule of thumb has been if a product qualifies for "as seen on TV", stay away - it's a scam. Here is the exception to the rule.
The Teeter Hang Ups is a well designed and quality built product that has brought me relief from pain for many years now. I have both cervical neck and lumbar back problems resulting from a drunk driver slamming into my car at freeway speeds as I sat at the top of a freeway offramp 30 years ago.
This device uses gravity and our own anatomical construction to provide a safe and controlable amount of traction that is as effective as what a physical therapist can provide. For best results (and for your safety), you need to educate yourself as to what traction does to the body and calculate what your personal needs happen to be. This is not a big deal.
The Teeter Inversion Table is a great device, but you have to be smart about how you use it. As far as your "bang for the buck," this is as good as it gets!

My husband and I both use this and I must say it is wonderful. The first time I used this was after a 600 mile work trip. I have multiple spine problems and osteoarthritis in every joint of my body. After driving on long trips I am always stiff and sore for days and usually have to resort to anti-inflammatory drugs to ease the pain, but I used the inversion table right after I got home and I woke up the next day feeling great. No stiff neck, no lower back and shoulder pain. My husband works in a lawn and garden center where he does a lot of heavy lifting and he uses it ever night and also gets great relief from using the table. He was not pleased with me when he first saw how much I paid for it, but now thinks it is worth every penny! It was easy to setup, it took about 15 min, and it is easy to store, although I don't think mine will ever be stored. I just fold up the legs and lien it up against a wall. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
