I purchased the Teeter Hang Up one month ago as a tool to try and relieve pain from a pinched nerve in my lower back. I had surgery three years ago for the same problem and was not looking forward to the same with limited results. I use the inverter twice a day for five minutes each period and my back and leg pain is gone. I called my Doctor two weeks after I received my inverter to cancel a series of shots he had scheduled for my problem. When I told the nurse I wanted to wait on the shots because I was getting great results from my own exercise program, she said, "I should try one of those inverters that you hang upside down on". She said she knew several people that had tried them with good results. I told her that I had purchased a Teeter Hang Up and that was the reason I did not need the shots!Customer Review: Could not be happier!

Excellent inversion table. It comes mostly assembled the rest can be done easily in under an hour. It goes smoother with two people. The table is extremely sturdy and well constructed and therefore is a little heavy. Once you get the table properly adjusted to your height it is very responsive to very tiny weight shifts. This makes it easy to invert and return to upright using the position of your arms. You can also adjust the responsiveness of the table so you don't go upside down or right side up to quickly. The ankle restraints keep you secure and you quickly will feel confident when you invert. My ankles were a little sore for the first two weeks but they are now nearly used to it now. Read the instructions, start slowly, and don't over do it and I think you'll love this table as I do.Customer Review: Awesome Product for a damaged back!

I developed back problems about a year ago. I was diagnosed with a disc bulge in my L5 Vertebrae. It was very uncomfortable to sit for extended periods of time. My doctor wanted to give me steroidal injections to ease the pain with a hint that surgery would help me. I also went to a chiropracter/physical therapist who wanted me to undergo expensive treatment, and I thought I was at the limit of all my options when a couple of friends on different occasions recommended this table to me. Oh gawd! I sound like an infomercial, but I have to say its true. Spending even a few minutes in the morning makes a world of difference to how I feel thru out the day. I was definitely a skeptic, being that I tried all other options but it is actually amazing, and i'm not the type to write a review.Customer Review: Quality product

Although I seldom write reviews on products, this merits a mention. I received the EP550 from Amazon in the shipping time promised. It was very well packed and nearly completely assembled. The few tools needed to complete are included.I had one of the first inversion table models Teeter made in the 80,s. It was well designed and well made. This 550 is also very well constructed and easy to adjust ,use and store NO TOOLS required.The ankle/foot clamps were eaiser to get in/out of on the early 'T' bar design. Probably changed to posi lock for safety reasons. It is very comfortable with the cups on the back and the foam pads on the front.You will not be dissapointed with spending a hundred dollars more on this product than going with its CHEEPER competitors .....Customer Review: back pain relief

I have had the Teeter inversion table for over a month. Figured I'd give it time so I could write a more accurate review. I have had back problems for many, many, years with 2 surgeries in the past 2 years. I still have back pain and right leg issues.
If you suffer from more severe back pain like I do, make sure to have an extra person around to unlock your feet. I do get relief while hanging upside down, but I also get a different pain at times. After going back rightside up, it is painful to reach down and I can barely free myself.
After a few minutes of being off of it and walking around, the new pain subsides and I feel better than I did before I got on it. The problems with my leg have also reduced.
