I have been suffering from sciatica for 6 months. I tried chiropractic help, acupuncture, massage, yoga and cold laser therapy. Nothing helped. Someone suggested an inversion table and although it was $300, I had spent twice that much on all other attempts to cure my pain. I have been using the table twice a day for 6 weeks for 3-5 minutes at a time. I am so happy to report that my pain is almost gone! There is definitely a learning curve to using the table. When I first started hanging upside down, I felt a tremendous stretching in my pelvis. It was a bit uncomfortable and I felt some pain. It also hurt when bending my knees to get the table back to a dismount position. With regular usage both of these discomforts have subsided. I actually look forward to using it, as does my entire family. I am very happy with this product and very thankful that I am almost pain-free!Customer Review: After a month.

After a month of using the Teeter Hang Up, I'm happy that I have it. Putting it together I was impressed with the quality. It really is a well made substantial machine. I'm not to the inverted stage yet but already feel that it's use is going to be a big benefit. I started out doing 2 minutes, twice a day (morning and evening)at about the 45 degree position. Now I'm doing 4 minutes twice a day at about the 75 degree position. Trying to monitor myself and not over do it like I usually do. I notice that when I'm out for my morning bike ride, my back doesn't get tired as it did before. I used to have to stand up on the pedals from time to time to straighten my back. That doesn't happen anymore. My wife says that I'm standing up and walking much straighter than I was before. I'm sold on using the Tetter right now, hope I feel the same after a year of it's use.Customer Review: Very solid unit for a reasonable price

I had a large kidney stone puverized with ultra sound and some of the residual particles went to the bottom of my kidney. The doc said I should lie upside down at a 30+ degree angle for 20 minutes twice a day to help dislodge them.
I figured it was time to look at an inversion table. The unit is truly sturdy, assembled in 10 minutes, and came with a DVD instructional video. I was hanging at a 45+ degree angle within 30 minutes of opening the box.
I've been using it twice a day for about 2 weeks with great results. I actually watch TV upside down while doing my 20 minute sessions. I'm 230 lbs, but the unit handles my weight without any problems. I feel completely secure using it.
The unit slides around easily so you can move it to other parts of the room without problems.
In all, I'm extremely satisfied.

This is a high quality inversion table. It is very solid and easy to assemble.
I am pretty large - 6'2", 260 lbs. I feel very secure on this even in the fully inverted position.
Buying an inversion table is something that I had considered for quite awhile. I had heard from several people that they are very helpful for back problems.
Although I do not have chronic back issues, there are times when I have lower back pain. Using this has been very helpful for me. It really seems to decompress my back, which may be quite helpful for those who sit at a desk for countless hours each day. I have not had any issues with my back since shortly after starting to use this. Generally I invert for about 10 minutes, 4-5 times per week.
If one is considering buying an inversion table, this is one that is very good.

I ordered my Teeter 550 just before Christmas. I had it in 4 days. It took 10 minutes to assemble and I was on my way.
Just a few minutes a day and already I can feel the lengthening in my spine.
The relief is wonderful. I have been wanting to try one of these for years, but it finally became a must, because I was tired of the pain. A bad car accident 25 years ago damaged C3 and L4 and L5.
I have done every type of therapy known to get just temporary relief. All I would ever hear when I saw a neurosurgeon is "we need to operate. We will know what needs to be done when we get in there." Yeah, right!! I don't want surgery and have avoided it for 25 years. Way too many horror stories, and many that I know are worse off now than before the surgery.
Im dragging this on... but to make it short and sweet. "I love my teeter"
