I use to have a wooden, decorative tv tray that looked great but wobbled and I felt unsafe when the kids would put their drinks on it. This is so much better. Doesn't wobble! Very sturdy! Slides under the sofa so you can pull it close to you. Which is great for keeping your back supported and for catching the kids crumbs. It has also been great for drawing and writing on too. A well established product. All is packed nicely and it comes with high quality instructions and a Warranty Card. Also in the documentation is the Customer Service phone number and email address. This shows me that this is a customer service oriented company. A simple product that does what it is advertised to do. I love it for a laptop desk. I disagree with the poor reviews. The tablemate meets its purpose. I think it is great. Get Organized sent it by standard shipping and it arrived as anticipated which was 10 days. Not bad. I am very satisfied with my tablemate. I use it to hold my laptop computer, but I have the option to use it as a table for "breakfast in bed" if I so desire.Customer Review: TableMate II

I am totally satisfied with the TableMate 11. I am a widower living alone and eat a lot of my meals in front of the TV. The TableMate works perfectly for this. I also do a lot of crossword puzzles and it works perfectly as a desk for this and writing letters and paying bills. It is strong and slides under my lounge chair and sofa just perfectly.Customer Review: Just Perfect!

I searched department and furniture stores for a TV tray, and never found anything quite right. Then I saw this advertised on television and thought "that's it!" Right away I ordered one from Amazon, and I'm delighted. It was easy to assemble, leaves room underneath to stretch out your legs, and stores with almost no fuss. Highly recommended.
