I ordered Table Mate II for my family room. My husband and I eat fairly late because of his work schedule so we always eat in our family room in front of TV. I ordered this table on Tues. and it arrived two days later. I love it. It is very light weight but sturdy and well made. Adjusting the height is easy, just push in both pins and give the leg a twist so they can't pop out, take it to the notch that is right for you and straighten the leg...the pins pop out and you have it. The top is adjustable for flat to a couple slants. I really like it and I am ordering another one today for my hubby.Customer Review: Insure it is the real TableMate II and not a copy.

I researched this table before I ordered it because there are 4 or 5 products claiming to be TableMate II. The TableMate II folding table by Amazon is not made by TableMate but the size in dimensions is about the same and is just right for its use. Two of the tables selling out there are much smaller in both height and width, and the actual table tray itself is much smaller as well. You really want to check the table/tray for the height, weight, length, and also how many, and what positions the table has? I bought the TableMate II folding table from Amazon and I am very satisfied.Customer Review: It's everything they claim....

My 2 year old son was in a spica full body cast and needed something to use as a table while he laid on the couch. This fit the bill perfectly. We packed it up and brought it with us on vacation for him to use and packs easily. Found it easy to adjust the lengths and angles - the metal pieces are smooth against one another. I wouldn't of ever thought to buy this unless I had a true "need" for it, but now that we have it, I actually find myself using it to eat in front of the TV! So I think it's a pretty good product.Customer Review: Just the thing.

Whenever I used my laptop on my lap, it heated itself up, and it heated my lap up (uncomfortably so). Also, when they cleaned out my computer at the shop, the fans had picked up all kinds of gradoo from my clothing and skin.
This table eliminates those problems. The computer stays cool, and so does my lap. And my computer doesn't get full of lint. It assembles very quickly with no tools, and it's stable. It works well with my recliner in front of the TV. Recommended.

These tables are perfect for eating in the living room. I can pull the table right up close to eat and be comfortable on the couch. Or if i want to eat upstairs in my office, they're easy to carry. I agree, the height is a pain to change, i keep it the same. Be careful putting the table down, the bar will swing down and hit you on the shins. I'm more careful now. I'm very happy with this purchase. (why are they calling this a toy?????)
