Customer Review: Great Little Table - BUT - Not For the Price

TableMate II is a great idea. Nifty design that comes in quite handy for a variety of uses. It's great for all ages. Perfect for children as it can grow with them from toddler to adult. It is very lightweight and fairly easily adjustable with no tools, easy to slide around for seniors. It however is not sturdy enough for a senior to use to stable themselves so I wouldn't use it with someone that was confused as they could injury themselves. It can be used for an easel, a flat surface, or as a slight incline. I think it is being under marketed to the disabled and therapists as it has great benefits in adaptive and rehabilatative uses for it's compact storage, light weight transportablity and ease of assembly as well as it's multi height and angle adjustments.
We have been using ours daily, and have actually removed some very expensive side tables for the functionality of the TableMates. It's a great little table.
DOWN SIDE:
On the down side, the materials used in construction are not a very good grade for the overall average price of $27. - $30. Adjustable legs do not slide well, quality could be improved.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
I ordered the first two from WONDERFUL BUYS. COM. advertised for $24. and free shipping with a set order amount, of which I purchased additional items. One tablemate arrived, the remainder of my order and the second table did not. Had to track down the company and demand my paypal payment be refunded after waiting several weeks for my order - it had been advertised as delivery before Christmas, by January 4th was still waiting. Order had not yet been shipped and I was never notified of a problem. No refund yet, would not buy from them again.
