We bought two of these and used them awhile: as improvised dinner tables, in the hotels, even in the back seat of our mini-van, when traveling, to hold portable dvd players, scrabble, etc., that kept the kids occupied. The product is nicely designed and well enough made for the price. The only complain is the color - I would prefer something more modern. Addendum: after a year's use, the tables held up very well. We bought two more and are now traveling with two of the four: one stays in the 3rd row of the mini-van and the other comes with us to the hotel room. I like this little table because it's just what I was looking for; a small, easily stored folding table that I could use for my laptop. It wouldn't bother me if they made another one of these, a little wider (maybe they do, but I haven't heard about it) so that there would be room for my wide laptop and a mouse or document. But I knew it wasn't that wide when I ordered it, so I don't count that as a fault. It's sturdy enough (for a tv tray) to use, but it won't hold a huge weight. If you need to sit something very heavy on a table, look elsewhere. I purchaced two of these tables about two years ago. Both my husband and my son are handicapped and in wheelchairs. I needed something that was designed to fit under the couch or wheelchair. These tables do this and also adjust to be able to use as a tray to accomodate a laptop or a canvas to paint on. They are very durable and easy to clean. i just purchased two more tables through Amizon for my vacation residense. I am sure that they will come in handy when my guys are with me on vacation. I would reccomend these tables to any one even "couch patatoes", because they are GREAT!!!Customer Review: Going strong for 2 years

I bought this table for my laptop two years ago because it was too hot having a laptop on my lap. Then I bought a netbook to replace my laptop and thought I wouldn't need this table anymore. But the netbook screen was too small. So I bought a 24 inch monitor for the netbook. I put that on top of the table and it has held up for several years now. I use it everyday and I even type on it. In fact, I am typing this review on the table. Highly recommend this sturdy table.
Also, my cats and dogs always bump into this table but have yet to knock it or its contents over.

I had already owned a couple of these Tablemate tables but when I needed a couple more TV tables, I searched for this product and ordered two more. I like them because of their versitility, ease of use and convenient access plus they are very lightweight. Also, you can make them any height and angle. I have had TV tables before but these are far superior. The fact that they are very lightweight makes them great to move just about anywhere and use them for all sorts of things from end tables to supper tables to computer tables.
I highly recommend this table.
